The type of Sulfate-free Haircare Products you use and how often you do it plays a critical role in your hair-growing efforts. This is often overlooked by many, but once you learn exactly what you need to do to make shampooing your hair effective, you’ll thank yourself later.
There are obvious reasons why we have to keep our hair and scalp clean. First of all we all get oils on our scalp. Some of us get a whole lot of it and it requires us to take special action to fix the problem.
If you have oily scalp and fear it’s causing your hair loss, there are ways to fight back. Not all shampoo is great for removing oils and keeping hair loss at bay. Definitely go for using what I like to call ‘see through’ shampoo.
This type of shampoo is just that, it’s clear and free of oils. If you can find one that’s lemon-based, this too is an added plus.
Everyone should avoid any shampoo that contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate. The bad part about SLS is that it’s in 90% of all commercial shampoo products. It’s not potentially harmful at first sight, but when you continue to use any haircare product with this in it, you are running a high risk.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate does a great job of lifting trapped dirt and oils, but it’s harsh content rips your hair apart over time.
How often do you shampoo your hair? Each day? Once, twice, three times a week? This too is highly important for added hair growth and prevention of hair loss. Those with very oily scalps should shampoo at least once daily. Just remember to use a ‘see through’ shampoo and avoid Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
