In John 20:30-31: “Jesus’ disciples saw Him do many more other miraculous signs besides the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you will have life.” The miracles that Jesus performed were driven by compassion. Jesus healed people, raised the dead, quieted storms and fed the hungry. Jesus did all these miracles and never performed a single miracle for His own benefit or gain.
Miracles are seals of a divine mission. A miracle is an unexpected event attributed to divine intervention. Miracles are messengers of God as the sacred writers appealed to them as proofs. Miracles are possible and they will inspire, excite and create a passion for life that human beings have never experienced before.
